I undertook this part rant, part performance on Sept 17th at the Medicine Man Gallery at the Wellcome Collection in London. This was a Unlimited & Wellcome Collection partnership.
I took the idea that hysteria, or a “wandering womb” (a displaced uterus) caused medical pathologies in women. I wore a “period costume” for a “wombalogue”, complete with a clitoris at, and let the wandering womb gets to have her say and confront misogyny in mental and physical health care.
